This is a good First time job for a Nutritionist with a B. S. in Nutrition. Nutritionist (Current Employee) – Waterbury, CT – July 1. WIC Nutritionist can help people with Nutrition education if they are interested. My co- workers really care about our clients and that kind of morale makes me feel good about working there. The hardest part about the job is the computer program that we have which can be cumbersome to work with but also counseling certain clients can also be a bit difficult. The most enjoyable part of the job would be knowing that you really helped a client to your fullest ability and that the visit for them was satisfying and helpful to them. Job Work/Life Balance.

Management. Job Culture. Rewarding work environment. Program Director (Current Employee) – Harrisburg, PA – October 2. Excellent place to work for. I would make boxes to pack the food into for food pantries.
When the boxes of food were done being packed i would put the finished boxes on a pallet as soon as the pallet was done i would use a pallet jack to move it and start on another pallet. I worked by myself most of the time.
Their wasnt a hard part about this job. The most enjoyable part was i was learning new things like learning how to work a pallet jack and helping unload trucks. I absolutely loved this job. Job Work/Life Balance. Compensation/Benefits. Job Security/Advancement. Management. Job Culture.

A typical day at this distribution was full of learning and from working here I learned a lot. The hardest part of the day was at the end of each day when we had to do inventory on all our warehouse items. The most enjoyable part of the day was when I got to help the mothers get their needed items for them and their growing babies.
Job Work/Life Balance. Compensation/Benefits. Job Security/Advancement. Management. Job Culture. Public Health Intern (Former Employee) – Philadelphia, PA – April 1. I did not have a great experience here as an intern and from speaking with employees it wasn't any better for them. There was a huge miscommunication between the higher ups and those individuals that worked on a daily basis in the clinics.
The lack of leadership and communication was a huge turn off and cause this experience to be terrible. Job Work/Life Balance. Compensation/Benefits. Job Security/Advancement. Management. Job Culture. Busy and sometimes quiet at the office.
Office Assistant (Former Employee) – Crownpoint, NM – March 1. Almost everyday, the phone will be ringing and the patients will reschedule appointments or confirm appointments. I would have to give surveys to the patients and have them wait in the waiting room. I would have to copy some documents. I was in the front and I didn't go to the patient's room unless it is important or related to the patient.
The management was good and the patients would always leave with a smile. My co- workers were wonderful and they would joke with one another. The hardest part of the job was rescheduling appointments and reminding the patients they had an appointment because they would argue about not having a ride or not having time because of their schedule. The most enjoyable part of the job was seeing the children and babies. Job Work/Life Balance. Compensation/Benefits. Job Security/Advancement.
