Psychologists are interested in how people think, feel and act – from interactions between neurons to interactions between people. Addiction, pain management, autism, ADHD, the effect of food additives and sexual health: these are just a few of the areas in which our research teams are seeking to aid and inform the wider community.

Schools Outreach Programme. At Warwick, we believe university should be an option available to alland not just a few. Outreach activities at Warwick Psychology aim to support and encourage students of all ages in their pursuit of science education. We are passionate about sharing the best of what we do in our department with the wider community, communicating our enthusiasm for psychology as a whole.
The Psychology Outreach Program is designed to afford qualified students the opportunity to participate in psychology-related internships in local community settings. The major goal of the outreach program is to increase. Safe and Welcoming Schools faculty frequently speak in schools, to youth-serving organizations, and at community events on topics related to school climate, bullying, prevention in psychology, and promoting positive.
Psychology Internship Programs at UT. The mission of Outreach Program is to provide safe water, food, medical care and education to children and those in need at home and abroad. Many of APA’s directorates and offices coordinate ongoing programs and individual activities that work internationally or include an international component. The University of Miami is now home to several research and clinical service programs providing state-of-the-art treatments to children. All students in the psychology program complete a 12-credit research core that culminates in an original research project. Many students also collaborate with faculty in one of the eight full-time research laboratories. Who's involved? Dr Liz Blagrove heads up our outreach team, comprising academic and support staff, and students (at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels). Our undergraduate Psychology Society plays a particularly important role; volunteering their time to interact on a one- to- one basis in schools, giving talks about their expereinces or taking part in larger scale events. What do Warwick Psychology Outreach do?
We participate in national and local outreach programmes, and are delighted to be invited to liaise with local schools/colleges and other organizations. This enables us to demonstrate, at first hand, what makes psychology such a fascinating topic.
